Phonation Organs

Volume 1

Upper Commands and Innervation

Vocal production involves highly complex mechanisms of structures related to the Central and Peripheral Nervous Systems, which generate two components for the voice: a propositional and an emotional one.
Thus, one can say “I’m going home” suggesting an action. However, this proposal may have multiple emotional components: determined, reluctant, sad or happy.
Demosthenes, the Virtual Man who speaks, will show us the upper commands and the innervation of the phonation organs for propositional and emotional vocalizations.
